I have evolved from an academic content writer to a technical content writer and strategist. The thought of achieving this goal post still feels unreal. So much has changed, for the worse or the better? Well, I am still trying to figure that part out.
The evolution of AI, or artificial intelligence, has ushered in huge change in the way people think, perceive, and work. The window of creativity and learning is so compressed in the name of efficiency that it hurts. It is marketed as a tool of convenience. You can offload your cognitive pressure in the form of prompts, and it will serve you a ready-made outcome, with a sprinkle of generic flavor.
No one wants to edit content manually now. No one wants to give time to write on their own. I used to think this tool was a wonder, only to realize that it blunts your critical, analytical, and imaginative skills.
As someone born before the AI hype, I felt that this technology would lead to a world of ideal eutopia. That, sadly, is just wishful thinking. Having the sweet time to think, reflect, and put your thoughts on paper feels like a privilege these days. No obligation to be present within the four walls of your employer's vain yet stingy concrete accomplishments. No pressure to conform to the vanity of HRs in the name of office policies and norms. At times, even the rantings want to rant. Such is the case.
So, this is me. A millennial kid who turns out to be a Gen Z at heart, trying to navigate the mazes of life and survive the grind.
